Duties: Receiving functions would include:
- Verify correct part# and quantities to the packing slip provided.
- Enter information into our System.
- Separate backorders from stock items to be shipped later in the day.
- Assist in the unloading of inbound shipments using a lift truck.
Shipping functions would include:
- Verify correct part# and quantities to the order/pick ticket.
- Prepare the order for shipment to ensure the product arrives intact.
- Enter information into our System and the carrier’s website.
- Assist in the loading of outbound shipments using a lift truck.
General warehouse duties:
- Stock product for sale in its correct bin location.
- Maintain a clean work area in ship/rec along with the warehouse.
- Must be able to stand for 4 hours and lift 40 pounds unassisted.
Additional skills that could possibly lead to full time position:
- General understanding of electronics and components.
- Previous experience in retail/wholesale operations.
- Positive attitude and willingness to do extra work.
- Detail oriented is a critical skill to ensure correct inventory accounting.
- Basic computer skills are required.
