About the job
In this role, you will be a senior member of our global business team. The Commerce Business Development Strategy and Operations, and Partnerships Solutions (PSGTM) team sits within the broader Global Partnerships organization and works very closely with the Global Business Development team. Our team has four primary objectives: to act as strategic thought partners to Business Development Leadership, to develop Go-To-Market partnerships strategy and scaling capabilities for commerce verticals and products, to create and manage programs to solve complex ecosystem dynamics, and to enable One Google for key industries like retail/shopping and travel.
Google’s Global Partnerships team powers extraordinary user experiences through partnerships that solve users’ needs, advance our partners’ goals, and further Google’s mission. Our team provides meaningful solutions — from helping publishers and developers grow their businesses through monetization solutions, to helping our long-term partners anticipate and navigate change in a way that delivers economic and reputational value. We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.
Serve as a thought partner and advisor to senior management to shape the partnerships strategy for commerce.
Work cross-functionally to understand the opportunities and risks associated with our engagement with the retail and travel industries.
Identify and vet solutions that tie all of Google’s product offerings to solve for the pressing needs of our Commerce partners.
Partner with Global Business Development leadership to help shape Commerce’s Partnerships objectives and key results (OKRs), bring strategic vision to OKRs to help define clear priorities across the organization, align resourcing, and enable our teams to execute and innovate at speed.
