About this role
As a Senior Sales Operations Analyst, you will provide predictive customer white-spacing analytics, price/volume/mix analysis, market share trending, and account penetration metrics to the Consumables Franchise. This position is responsible for assisting management with tracking the performance of the portfolio and changes in portfolio. This tracking should proactively identify areas of concern to management as be developed as a suite of analytics and reporting to allow management to easily understand performance and trends. You will work with Senior Leadership to identify, analyze and implement objectives that improve the Consumables Franchise performance.
Define go-forward suite of reporting to track and trend Consumables Franchise revenue and margin performance
Drill into big data to glean trends through defined key performance indicators
Partner with Marketing to develop market share and target attainment models by customer
Partner with IT to ensure requirements are clearly defined for new business intelligence reporting and future enhancements
Support Master Data function to cleanse customer master for key reportable attributes—parent/IDN, industry, duplicates, etc.; develop dashboards and reporting to provide forum for management to drill into IDN and industry trends
Act as subject matter expert for detailed consumables performance understanding what is driving performance by customer, sales territory, product group, and distributor
Develop contract compliance reporting to identify customers missing tier commitments—notify Commercial team of gaps to drive revenue and margin
Support Sales Operations to identify key accounts per territory; create and maintain pareto of accounts by territory and provide timely updates to Commercial to help the team focus efforts with key customers and opportunities
Provide commentary of business trends and results to management; actively call out and address risks and opportunities to management.
Provide periodic and ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting in support of executive management.
BA in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred.3 + years relevant experience
Advanced analytical skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at a time.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation skills; ability to present financials to executive management
Advanced system skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Self-motivated, independent worker.
Experience in a multi-currency, international business.
SAP experience preferred
