The Marketing Coordinator supports the organization in its growth efforts by supporting its Marketing department. This person works cross functionally with both internal and external departments and works collaboratively to meet the company’s established communication, sales and margin goals. The person in this role will support Santanna’s branding/ cohesive messaging across all sales channels, stays abreast of changes in the energy retail environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly. The Marketing Coordinator leverages theirs skills with marketing concepts, practices and procedures, and may perform related tasks as per business need, such as creating and executing email strategy, radio copy, TV creative, etc. The person in this position reports to the Marketing Supervisor and will support the Sales and Marketing Manager.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or a business-related field.
At least one or two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong creative writing capability.
Familiarity with Adobe creative suite, a basic understanding of HTML and CSS. Functional knowledge of Wordpress and Adwords is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Experience within other deregulated retail industries such as telecommunications, wireless, banking, or financial services is a plus.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
