Critical Action Items:
Assist potential families in completing paperwork.
Complete walk-through s of all potential foster homes as a part of the home study process.
Meet face-to-face with all potential foster parents at least 1 time during the home assessment process.
Participate in all staff meetings, training's and team interactions as scheduled.

Measurable Deliverable:
Ensure that foster development services meet State licensing, program and contract standards.
Ensures that foster Parents are adequately skilled and motivated to implement a comprehensive treatment Parent Model.
Ensures foster care records contain appropriate documentation, provides liaison with referral sources, providers and consultants.
Responsible for development and certification of foster parents

Other Responsibilities:
Observes all agency policies and procedures.
Recruits Foster Parents and respite providers. Provide feedback, evaluation, motivation, and direction to staff and foster parents.
Establishes tracking system and provides Community Liaison Director status of prospective foster parents on a weekly basis.
Will certify no less than 3 foster families per month (36 per year).
Provide consultation services to the case managers in providing direction to foster parents.
Reviews foster parent records to ensure compliance with state licensing, and contract standards of regulating/accrediting bodies.
Responsible for timely completion of assignments and adapts to changing workloads to include work in evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Act as a child/family advocate.
Practices within the highest ethics and standards of their identified profession and Lonestar Social Services
Develop and maintain effective working relationships between CPS staff, law enforcement officials, judicial officials, legal resources, medical professionals and other community resources.
Meet with a minimum of 17 families per month.
Complete all forms on Lonestar database.
Other job duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma

18 years or older

2 years relevant experience in child placing agency

Complete 90-day probationary period.

**PAY IS $100 PER HOME**
