Senior Internal Auditor

Functional Overview
As a Senior Internal Auditor within the Finance/Audit organization, you will be responsible for conducting assigned audit engagements based on the annual Audit Plan and in alignment with Internal Audit methodology. You will identify and communicate issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk. You will supervise staff auditors assigned to engagements providing guidance and overall review of deliverables. You will ensure adherence to Internal Audit Policies and Procedures. In addition to operational audits, you will execute and review SOX walkthroughs and control testing.

Job Responsibilities

Leads operational and SOX audit assignments successfully from beginning to end.
Writes audit reports summarizing audit results following department methodology.
Contributes to the development of audit staff by providing relevant and timely feedback.
Utilizes data analytics results to assess total population risk and plan the audit approach
Ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, controls, and risk.
Adheres to applicable department and professional standards
Works closely with management to communicate audit results and determine issue mitigation plans.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
3+ years of experience in internal audit and/or analyzing business processes
Experience with US GAAP, SOX, COSO Control Framework, Internal Auditing Standards and risk assessment practices

Preferred Requirements

CPA, CIA, or CISA
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to navigate in SAP, extract data from SAP, and understand SAP dataflows
Experience using Google tools and Tableau
