The Honeywell Human Resources team has an exciting Human Resources Manager role supporting one of our key U.S. manufacturing plant facilities in Chickasaw, AL. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, Integrated Supply Chain, you will have an outstanding chance to join a team of highly engaged professionals and have responsibility for driving the business priorities across this 300+ person facility.
Work with site leadership to provide a broad range of HR support actions for achieving business objectives including:
Drive a culture of growth, meeting commitments, and positive employee relations
Act as personal coach and confidant for leaders, to include providing sound advice and counsel in employee relations matters
Partner with the Talent Acquisition COE to ensure flawless execution of staffing processes at all levels within the business
Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization at all levels (e.g., evaluation of cost, clarifying roles and responsibilities, organization design, etc.)
Talent and organizational development - assist in conducting organization assessments and upgrade talent through strategic staffing and talent pipeline development
Support talent review (MRR) process and ensure appropriate linkages with broader ISC and business reviews
Facilitate alignment of organizational processes, systems and culture with key business priorities and design management efforts
Must be capable of balancing multiple stakeholders, assessing talents and skills of leaders, be innovative and creative, possess leader and mentor qualities, be team and results oriented, be able to coach managers including dealing with performance issues and terminations.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
5+ years progressive human resource generalist experience
5+ years of human resource experience in a manufacturing environment
Master's degree or MBA in Human Resources
Ability to facilitate organizational change and foster linkage between business objectives and human resources activities
Demonstrated capability to communicate (written and verbal) and work effectively at all levels of the organization inspiring respect and credibility
Strong data analytical skills and process orientation along with proficiency in MS Office software including solid experience working with Microsoft Excel (generating and interpreting pivot tables, graphs and V-lookups)
Strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
Ability to artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
Approximately 10% travel may be required
