Vision is looking to expand the Solutions Architect pre-sales engineering team within our Security Practice. We are looking for performance-driven engineers who are seeking a dynamic engineering opportunity where you take full ownership of the architecture and design of client solutions. You’ve got to be a strategic player who can assist with driving activities, opportunities and business for the overall success and revenue of our Security Practice. As a Security Solutions Architect you will report to the Security Practice Manager and you will be responsible for providing full lifecycle technical consulting centered around risk-based, comprehensive security solutions for medium- to large-sized organizations.

Your specific duties as a Security Solutions Architect will include:

Works collaboratively with sales and engineering teams and serve as a trusted advisor.
Support sales team, as required, to recommend and close security opportunities.
Work with our sales teams to raise awareness of practice strategy to drive revenues.
Work with our Capture and Proposal teams as technical SME providing technical narratives as required
Build and foster relationships with other partners and customers
Cultivate strong channel relationships and create a bi-directional lead flow with a goal of four leads per month
Work with a wide variety of clients performing assessments, surveys, and designs for enterprise class security solutions.
Create quotes, statement of work, and opportunity specific terms & conditions
Provides knowledge transfer to clients on implemented solutions.
Complete project activities and provide deliverables on time and under budget
Support and participate in client briefings as the subject matter expert on security and their proposed solutions.


As a Solutions Architect your excellent communication and presentation skills combined with a technically sound understanding of Genetec, Amag, S2, Axis, Hanwha, and other security products will enable the Security Practice to build upon and exceed customer and company goals. Specific required qualifications for the Solutions Architect position include:

At least 5-10 years of solid experience with physical security deployments focused on engineering enterprise class solutions for commercial, Federal, and DOD clients.
Pre-Sales experience with technology solution sets
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to adapt to various business needs.
Experience developing and fostering key revenue driven relationships.
Must be abreast of industry trends and new technologies.

Have progressive experience with one of the following:
Genetec Security Center, Omnicast, Synergis
Amag Symmetry
Other enterprise class Access Control solutions
IP Video cameras (Axis, Hanwha, etc.)
Exacq, Milestone, ONSSI, or other enterprise class VMS solutions
Experience designing and implementing Enterprise Routing and Switching, Wireless, and Network Security are a plus.
Must be capable of working well both independently or as part of a team.
US Federal government and Department of Defense experience is a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to adapt to various business needs.
Must have good leadership skills.
Occasional travel for on-site visits with existing and potential customers.
