Analyzes current processes and recommends efficiencies in procedures, including, but not limited to, analyzing, recommending and implementing automated methods of performing tasks; Partners with the CFO and Controller to identify, recommend and implement continuous process improvements; Processes a variety of bank accounting transactions and prepares a variety of financial reports and summaries; Performs complex professional accounting work in the review, maintenance and preparation of accounting and financial records; Prepares, analyzes, and reviews, accounting transactions required for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; Researches and provides financial data on request, works as a liaison to other departments to provide information and resolve accounting issues; Assists with implementation of software and systems to aid in the efficiency of the department; Performs a variety of financial and clerical duties in the areas of finance, accounting and payroll.
Experience / Education: B.S. in Accounting and minimum of five years of applicable experience within the financial services sector, preferably within community banking environment. Equivalent combinations of education / experience / training considered.
