Are you a driver of change? Are you passionate about helping organizations and people lead through change? This is an exciting opportunity to be on the front line of major transformational efforts across multiple functions at Starbucks. You will leverage enterprise methodology and approach with accompanying tools to enable the business to deliver against transformational strategies and maximize the adoption through effective and sustained behavior change. You will partner closely with HR and business leadership and a community of change practitioners across the organization to leverage best practices to build change leadership capability for this program and for the future.
As a change management lead, you will…
Create the strategy for change initiatives including the overall multi-year vision; establish governance framework and lead the day to day activities of the change/communication team.
Design and align leading indicators of success including metrics, processes and tools used to measure ROI.
Routinely and thoughtfully analyze stakeholder engagement (up through C-Suite).
Design sponsor roadmap and influence interventions as needed to ensure program sponsorship is aligned and moving the program forward.
Use the concept of Human Centered Design (HCD) create personas for affected partners (employees).
Leverage the created personas - conduct change impact analysis; design tailored communication strategy which enables more effective adoption of behaviors needed to support the change.
Strategically identify and mobilize a cross-functional Change Champion network to provide thought partnership and support the change for impacted individuals.
Partner with Training Specialist to design persona-based training strategy leveraging insights from comprehensive change impact analysis.
Collaborate closely with “Field Readiness” team on scaling strategy and measures of success; tracking progress and recommending interventions as needed.
We’d love to hear from people with:
8+ yrs experience working on large scale people and behavioral change projects, or other types of projects with significant change leadership elements
5+ yrs experience designing and executing organizational changes and planning for employee impacts
5+ yrs experience of applying industry-based change leadership and project management methodologies and tools in a business environment
5+ yrs experience working in, or closely with Technology and Business functions – including but not limited to Supply Chain, Operations and HR
5+ yrs working on large, complex projects (from planning through stabilization) with enterprise impacts and c-level sponsorship
3+ yrs using an Agile way of working for program management and/or technology development
Deep knowledge of change leadership practices; flexible in how to effectively operationalize within a business.
Lead with a growth mindset and a curiosity to learn
Exceptional ability to influence and communicate at all levels, leading from behind when necessary
Flexible and adaptable; able to work effectively through ambiguous situations
Ability to build trust and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
Ability to balance logic and analytical thinking with empathy
Ability to look at the bigger picture as well as have a keen eye for detail
Knowledge of project management best practices; experience with Jira is an asset
Fluency in PowerPoint with solid experience in Word, Excel
Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Mural/Miro, are a plus
