Equal-Plus is searching for an Applications Administrator with IBM-Sterling Integrator experience for a our client, a global manufacturer. Our client enjoys a global and diverse workforce, but at this time our client can only accept US Citizens, Green Cards, or EAD. Position will be contract for 3 months before converting to a full-time role. No relocation expenses for non-local candidates.
Maximum salary is 100k DOE.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or computer related discipline should be required.
At least 5 years’ experience in eCommerce or EDI fields should be required.
Experience in administration of IBM Sterling Integrator application
Experience administering Windows based applications.
Skills that are a plus:
Experience of B2B communications protocols such as AS2 and SFTP.
Experience in EDI transaction development and support.
Experience with Axway Interchange/B2Bi.
Experience in UNIX Shell scripting.
Maintain system integrity and security for EC applications.
Maintain system optimal performance.
Enforce system Sarbanes–Oxley policies.
Trouble shoot production issues as they relate to eCommerce communications, EDI translation, SAP integration and Application performance.
Design and enable eCommerce solutions.
Develop custom VB and Shell scripts when needed.
Assist datacenters in maintenance efforts.
Serve as a primary contact for all application issues regarding the software vendor.
Ability to work additional hours as needed. On call support requirements.
Develop and manage processes for change control and auditing on all eCommerce Applications.
Maintain and develop documentation for change control processes.
Responsible for all Disaster Recovery setup and testing.
Track and report ecommerce application metrics.
Assist eCommerce Manager in strategic planning for capacity and functionality.
Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the department.
