LabCorp, one of the nation's largest clinical laboratories, is seeking an experienced MLT or MT that is looking for work away from the bench and would welcome the opportunity for a position in our Hospital Service Dept.
The Technician/Technologist Customer Service Rep will be responsible for providing exemplary customers services for our Hospital clients. The team is responsible for communicating with our hospital clientele answering incoming calls to providing requested information, researching and resolving problems, finding sources for send-out testing, working with minor interface issues, and working closely with other departments in the laboratory.
Prior technical laboratory experience strongly preferred and must be available to rotate weekends/holidays and evenings/nights as required
Requires an Associate's Degree or higher that qualifies as a Medical Lab Technician or Technologist
Previous customer service experience
A minimum of 1-3 years' experience as an MLT or MT bench experience
Computer skills and understanding
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently from home or as part of a team in an office
