Cal Audits, Inc. has over 30 years of experience auditing in the state of California. We specialize in performing premium audits -- primarily Workers Compensation and General Liability audits. Our clients are major insurance companies who provide us with the audit assignments. We hire Contractors (Premium Auditors) to complete these audits.

Position Summary: Seeking highly organized, self-motivated and self-driven individuals to perform Workers Compensation and General Liability audits. Immediate Availability! (PLEASE do not send a resume if you do not have Bookkeeping/Payroll Experience!) $35-50/hour DOE Our auditors range from $20,000 to $60,000+ based on how many hours they bill.

*INSURANCE PREMIUM AUDITING PREFERRED

Requirements are as follows: * Must have Bookkeeping & Payroll Experience * Must be Able to Work Independently * Computer Literate * Own a Laptop (with internet access), Cell Phone, scanner and dependable vehicle (with current auto insurance) * Able to Visit Multiple Locations in a Day * High Level of Professionalism * Able to Effectively Communicate Both Verbally and in Writing

Responsibilities:

Contractor: * You will be required to travel throughout an assigned territory. * This is not a sales position. You will receive audit assignments from Cal Audits, Inc. You are responsible for scheduling, performing audits, and submitting audits in a timely manner. * As a Contractor, you submit your billing hours for the audits you complete and are paid weekly. This is basically like running your own business!!

You Will: * Receive Audit Assignments from our Office * Schedule Audit Appointment with the Insured * Travel to Insured's Location and Perform Audits

At The Audit Appointment You Will: * Examine Payroll or Sales Records * Input Information into a Worksheet on Designated Software Program * Interview the Insured for a Description of Operations, Employee Duties,Subcontractor Information, Ownership Information, etc. * Complete Audit (Write-Up) * Submit Completed Audit (electronically) to Cal Audits, Inc. with your billing hours
