Responsibilities iON Compliance is a big data platform combining data ingest, analytics, machine learning and elements of artificial intelligence with a big data lake. Having invested in the initial platform /application build-out and the anchoring of alpha customers over the past 18 months; iON is now looking to augment its program management organization with a project manager to play their part in accelerating the growth of the most innovative UL digital technology investment in its history. Our goal is to enable the UL client base to effectively leverage the recent developments in the digital revolution, by giving them the ability to truly leverage their own corpus of data with internal core competences and win in a rapidly evolving digital eco-system.

Reporting directly to the lead of Program Management for iON Compliance, the Customer Delivery Project Manager is a key hire for the group at this point in time. The Customer Delivery Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project planning and ensure effective project implementation. The role will be required to contribute to overall delivery improvement initiatives, drive customer delivery, and influence the product roadmap based on customer feedback and thus overall program strategy.


Customer Relationship Management

Establish trust and transparency with customers, providing insight into project timelines and product features. Ensure communication of customer needs to internal teams such as business analysts and software engineers and be the Voice of the Customer for the iON team. Manage scope and establish clear criteria of success with both customer and internal teams to ensure adherence to the signed SOW and other contracts.

Internal Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with key stakeholders within the iON organization and UL, cultivating successful relationships across business units, IT, and operations to ensure the iON platform, engagement philosophy, and product positioning is appropriately represented. Ensure effective communication across deliver teams and internal stakeholders such that all relevant parties are kept updated on progress.


Ensure projects achieve agreed upon KPI’s, and ensuring overall project costs are in line with targets.

Governance and Communication

Manage internal communications ensuring all internal stakeholders are informed, consulted as appropriate on items, and issue of relevance throughout project lifecycles. Ensure best practices around risk management, reporting (internal and external), and communication are applied.

  • University Degree (Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree) with more than 6 years working experience.
  • Experience in digital technologies, retail, or healthcare preferred.
  • Experience in a regulated industry (consumer goods, healthcare, etc.).
  • Global experience is preferred.
  • Experience managing projects of various scale and complexities simultaneously preferred.
  • Client-focused mentality to understand and appropriately respond to clients’ business needs, with a sense of urgency and focus on client satisfaction.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel both internationally and domestically (up to 25%).
