Levin & Nalbandyan, LLP is a respected plaintiff's side law firm with an immediate opening for an experienced workers compensation case manager. The eleven-lawyer firm, located in the Studio City, represents plaintiffs in employment, worker's compensation, and personal injury matters in state and federal courts. Beautiful, modern office set in Studio City.
Specifically, we are looking for support in our workers compensation department. The right person for this position will have excellent computer/word processing skills, multitasking, and organizational skills, and above all must be detail oriented with a commitment to excellence. The ability to speak, write, and comprehend Spanish is also a must.

Role and Responsibilities
- Process new files from Intake
- Assist handling attorney from beginning of case to final resolution
- Reporting claims to insurance companies
- Filing and serving workers compensation documents
- Making doctor’s appointments for clients
- Requesting QME/ AMEs and filing and objecting to DORs
- Organize case files for team
- Communicate case status with clients and outside counsel as requested
Qualifications
- Previous case management process experience is needed - preferably as a workers compensation case manager, or related jobs such as paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant at a law firm, non-profit, or human services agency
- Experience with EAMS/WCAB, scheduling PQME evaluations, filing DORs, obtaining medical records and organizing files, communicating with clients, and preparing correspondence. Ideal candidate should have a minimum 1-3 years of experience in the field of workers' compensation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software
- Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once
- Possesses exceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral
