Hybrid position (In Falls Church, VA office 1-2 days/week)
Position Overview
Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for community engagement? The Foundation for Community Association Research (FCAR) is seeking a full-time Coordinator to join our team! This role is crucial in supporting our mission through administrative coordination, effective communication, and fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support, including calendar management and meeting logistics.
Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance our online presence.
Oversee regular website updates to ensure current and accurate content.
Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and manage follow-up actions.
Assist in tracking fundraising activities and coordinating campaigns and events.
Plan and schedule communications to promote the Foundation’s activities.
Draft and track surveys using tools like Survey Monkey.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
1-2 years of experience in administrative coordination or social media management.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and website management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
