Hummingbird Marketing Agency is a professional marketing/advertising/public relation company, established in Wall Street, New York. Our customers locate across America, from the East Coast to the West Coast. We are seeking part-time marketing assistant in New York now.

Job descriptions:

  • Develop and main media lists
  • Prepare pitch letters and assist with media outreach on behalf of clients as instructed
  • Assist in developing press materials, including fact sheets, backgrounders, and press releases
  • Help with social media content creation and report
  • Attend team brainstorms and meetings as directed by your supervisor
  • Write client and/or team memos
  • Manage Wechat accounts: writing, editing, photo shooting, etc.
  • Design poster or postcards
  • Generate proposals for clients
  • Press release pitching
  • Social media management
  • Monitor digital campaigns, including Google, Facebook, etc.
  • Assist with off-line events as needed

Qualification and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
  • Ability to work at least three days a week (11 am to 6 pm)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of social media
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and willingness to work on a variety of projects
  • Excellent research skills
  • Previous PR or marketing internships a plus, but not required
  • Must be fluent in English and Chinese
  • No lateness
