Global Marketing Manager, Acute Therapies-Critical Care
About Baxter’s Acute Therapies-Critical Care Global Business Unit
Baxter’s Acute Therapies business is a US$600M+ business globally and is expected to play a major role in Baxter’s growth over the coming years, with significant investments being made in the pipeline/market development.
The Baxter’s Acute Therapy business unit is seeking a high energy individual to support the Global Marketing Team, continually updating/enhancing our portfolio tools, drive team engagement/ communications in a highly collaborative environment, working with our Continual Renal Replacement and Organ Support Therapies, Digital Health and Market Development teams.
Lead the annual Global Acute BaxPerform commercial planning process: collaboration across marketing, market development and medical teams to build a comprehensive plan/gain alignment
Lead the Global Acute convention strategy, in partnership with Marketing Directors. Serve as a liaison across the Global Portfolio/execute tactical elements.
Work closely with key stakeholders to update, enhance and execute on portfolio resources such as the Acute Portfolio tool, Strategy Vault and campaign interactions including adding new launches and services to the positioning, value prop, messaging and sales tools
Work closely with key stakeholders to develop an annual Acute internal communication plan to drive engagement cross-functionally and with global marketers, regional/country audiences and then execute throughout the year
Manage relationship with Agency of Record to include annual satisfaction surveys, holding agency accountable to agree upon metrics and improvements
Serve as a liaison and support the Acute Therapies Sales Advisory Board.
Key Qualifications and Attributes
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, commercial, business, or related field
4+ years of professional experience in Marketing, Marketing Operations, Sales or an advertising agency, preferably in healthcare and/or medical devices
Ability to understand market trends and customer needs and develop plans to address them
Strong skills, knowledge and experience in creative program development and problem solving
Positive attitude with a relentless drive for optimal results
Collaborator with ability to bring team members and key stakeholders together to reach a common goal
Strong communication skills, including written, presentation, and negotiation
Proven track record in leading projects to successful completion
Objective and fact-based in all aspects of decision-making
