- 3+ years of previous QA experience; or higher education
- Must have prior laboratory experience
- Must have good record keeping/documentation skills and able to read and write in English
- Must be assertive and able to function independently
- Knowledge of Quality Processes and Systems. Including, but not limited to HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs
- The ability to communicate to all levels of staff and management
- Work in concert with all departments to uphold and enforce all food safety policies and practices.
- Must be dependable and willing to work overtime as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to stand for extended periods of time as well as walk and climb stairs frequently. The associate may occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Bending and squatting may also be required. The associate is frequently required to use arms to reach out and use hands to grasp objects and/or controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, the ability to adjust focus, and see a complete range of color. Associates are also required to have an average ability to taste and smell.
