JOB TITLE: Senior Specialist, Visual Operations & In-Store Presentation

Reports to: Manager, Visual Operations & In-Store Presentation

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Senior Specialist of Visual Operations and In-Store Presentation is responsible for creating and executing in-store experiences that drive an emotional connection to the DSW brand through merchandise, fixtures and signage. The successful individual will be creative and solution-oriented and will lead in-store visual presentations that bring DSW marketing strategies to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead development of innovative visual merchandising and product placement for DSW stores, including noteworthy seasonal and trend focused floorsets.
Responsible for all floorset documentation and written communication that supports execution to the field, including:Balance of chain
Power 35
APT tests
Kids stores
New store openings
Seasonal handbag and accessories
Seasonal footwear floor layout
Drives evolution and layout of visual communication tools to create efficiencies and strong visual/marketing execution within the field.
Influencer during campaign planning and kick-offs; collaborate with Marketing Strategy and Consumer Marketing to align on goals for effective visual merchandising.
Strong cross-functional partnership with Creative, Merchants, Store Design & Construction and Store Operations to ensure optimal in-store experience, efficiencies and profitability for all visual floorsets.
Work directly with Store Ops and Field leadership to identify opportunities, gain customer and associate feedback, and apply learnings to achieve optimal execution and selling success.
Partner with Merchants and Marketing to conceptualize and create in-store marketing.
Visit stores to identify go-forward opportunities and apply findings to achieve consistent flawless execution and selling success.
Constantly conceptualize new and creative in store merchandising ideas to drive out of the box thinking.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Computer skills: MS Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe inDesign and Adobe Photoshop
Excellent time-management skils and consistent sense of urgency
Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious, and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility
Working knowledge of store design concepts, floor planning and fixturing
High level of creativity and flair
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and capable of juggling mutiple project plans simultaneously
Ability to lead conversations and gain consensus from business partners
Enjoys working as part of a team and collaborating together to achieve results

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Design, or related area
5+ years marketing experience in a retail or other related industry
