Program Assistant/Intern will support the Program Department in their work to maintain, develop and coordinate organization's programs to include: Annual National CelebrAsianProcurement and Business Conference; Chamber Leadership Alliance (CLA); CEO Academy; Business Leadership Series (BLS); Business Express; and Regional Conferences/Events.

*In this capacity, the main responsibilities include:

CelebrAsianConference (Outside of Scholarship Program):

  • Assist in updating internal and online registration system (Eventbrite) for the annual conference, pulling up and preparing registration reports
  • Assist in on-site annual conference preparation and attendance as staff to help coordinate it

Other Programs:

  • Assist in logistical preparation of Chamber Leadership Alliance (CLA) and regional events, CEO Academy, Business Express - print and staff name badges, pack relevant materials, organize binders, help with banner design and pick up from print shop, help with on-site set up
  • Attendance at regional events as appropriate
  • Assist with various research projects (i.e. young & successful Asian American entrepreneurs, Asian Americans that serve on boards of Fortune Corporations, Asian American sports, movie and TV stars, Asian American and other minority and small business organizations, Congressional contacts, options for conference gifts, decorations and awards)
  • Organize research results appropriately in excel spreadsheets for clear and efficient presentation to the Program Department & easy understanding

Administrative/Operational Tasks:

  • Maintain and update Program files through Salesforce, HubSpot, and Excel spreadsheets
  • Assist in answering phones and transferring/directing calls
  • Assist collect and organize data so that it can be used to analyze program functions, productivity and redundancies.
  • Help maintain program storage space to ensure proper items are organized available for events
  • Take notes for internal meetings

  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with EventBrite, HubSpot, Salesforce, SurveyGizmo, Canva are welcome
  • Available to work till the end of annual national conference in June 2019
  • Available to work full-time from March 2019 - June 2019
