Highlight Technologies is looking for a Project Coordinator to directly support the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which regulates interstate and international communications by wire, radio, television, satellite, and cable not otherwise reserved by law for regulation by other Federal agencies.
You will be a part of a team which is responsible for ensuring the agency's IT programs and data capabilities are aligned with the FCC Strategic Plan and can efficiently and effectively provide a user-friendly system for controlling the storage, maintenance, security, interchange, and exchange of data involved in the management and monitoring of a wide variety of FCC data systems.
You will provide project coordination support to multiple agecy programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Portfolio Manager Team Lead with project coordination.
Provide updates to project artifacts including the integrated project plan, schedule, risk assessment, and work breakdown structure (WBS) for multiple projects/programs.
Submit weekly updates to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and reports on the status of tasks and milestones against the baseline schedule
Provide subsequent updates to project schedule tasks, dates, resources, and accomplishments to maintain the accuracy of the project schedule.
Identifiy project risks and issues.
Maintain project documents in a project library repository provided by Government.
Conduct and document project AARs, which capture lessons learned, risk mitigation strategies utilized, problems encountered, resolutions, and recommendations.
Monitor, track, and measure progress toward each goal and report on performance compliance against the CIO’s IT Strategic Plan.
Analyze the most accurate and up-to-date cost, benefit, risk, and return information.
Create a list of prioritized projects using uniform decision criteria.
Provide required information on appropriate mix of projects for the Government to create a balanced investment portfolio.
Facilitate the coordination, development, and maintenance of IT Portfolios.
Monitor the progress of projects during their development cycle.
Identifiy potential or existing problems, and identifies appropriate action to avoid or address problems. Qualifications
U.S. Citizen; eligible for a government clearance.
Ability to perform the duties listed above.
Four (4) years of experience is required, of which two (2) years must be specialized in tasks similar to that described under functional responsibility.
Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
