Essential Job Duties Summary:
- Establish High Expectations: Create a culture where every student is expected to attend college.
- Develop and Implement Lessons: Align lesson plans and classroom activities with Common Core Standards and AIMS Instructional Guidelines.
- Assess and Differentiate Instruction: Regularly assess students, analyze results, and tailor instruction to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work with fellow teachers to improve instructional practices and share best practices.
- Communicate with Families: Maintain regular communication with students and their families regarding classroom activities and progress.
- Engage and Manage Students: Ensure full student engagement and manage classroom behavior effectively.
- Participate in Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development and collaborate with school leadership.
- Maintain Records and Address Needs: Keep accurate student records, identify unique needs, and work with team members to address them.
