Responsibilities

As a Enforcement Assistant (Office Automation) , you will:
Assist senior enforcement analysts in providing performance oversight and technical assistance on Multifamily Housing projects under the jurisdiction of the Enforcement Center.
Assist in reviewing contractor reports for completeness and consistency to insure work performed meets Enforcement Center and HUD standards.
Participate in studies and surveys of multifamily operations to learn about compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience: For the GS-08,you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service.

Specialized experience for this position includes:
  • Accessing databases and maintaining spreadsheets; AND
  • Serving as point-of-contact for visitors and callers; AND
  • Performing and solving problems of routine office functions; AND
  • Independently creating and reviewing office correspondence for correct grammar, punctuation, format and writing style.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
