JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- The HVAC Technician will provide maintenance, diagnose and repair various commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems.
- HVAC technicians will replace any heating, air conditioning, or refrigeration equipment or complete systems.
- Lay out and connect electrical wiring between the controls and equipment according to the wiring diagram, using an electrician’s hand tools.
- Obtain and maintain required certifications as they pertain to HVAC technician duties.
- HVAC Technicians will be required to inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions.
- Maintain cleaning coils and leak checking.
- Testing HVAC and refrigeration systems and components.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates must have at least 5 years of prior experience working as an HVAC technician or HVAC installer.
- Candidates must have an EPA certification that is up to date and valid.
- Clean driving record.
- Knowledge and understanding of HVAC service and installation techniques.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.
- High School degree or equivalent.
