In this role you will:
Drive business impact and results across client relationships, develop and grow engagement and add value to establish Nielsen as a valued thought leader and strategic partner.
Consult with client stakeholders to understand their strategic business priorities and opportunities then proactively introduce innovative thinking and Nielsen solutions to those situations.
Lead and penetrate the client organization through your deep and thorough knowledge and application of advanced analytic solutions and applications.
Lead integrated analyses in support of client's strategic initiatives. Present analyses to senior level client contacts complete with actionable insights and recommendations for the client's business.
Work collaboratively with other Nielsen teams to identify revenue opportunities outside of contracted services.
Recruit, build and maintain a strong, diverse team of people to meet ever shifting business needs, as well as, continuously assess organizational structure and alignment of talent to strategic business objectives.
Exhibit highly developed probing, listening and feedback skills, resulting in clarification and confirmation of client needs while leading others to do the same.
Act as a role model by demonstrating Nielsen’s Operating Principles of Trust & Accountability; Engage, Include & Decide and Fewer, Faster, Bolder with your client and broader team.
Foster a culture of strategic collaboration across the Nielsen organization.
Handle all sensitive client discussions and strive for win-win and timely solutions.
Own and manage the operating plan including revenue, expense and cash flow targets for your respective client(s).
Mastery in leading positive client relationships in complex situations, resolving client issues & growing client engagement
Proven track record in market research, project management, sales/business development and/or consulting
Accomplished thought leader and influential client partner leveraging industry, operational and analytic-savvy knowledge and experience
Demonstrated ability to apply analytic solutions to uniquely solve retailer business/operational issues
Working knowledge and use of retailer syndicated data or similar preferred.
Superior in senior level communications, influencing & negotiation
Revenue accountability. Expert in financial & contractual management
Able to manage, motivate, develop & inspire large teams
Excellence in developing & executing strategic plans for a business unit
Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams
Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes while managing multiple priorities
Background and Technical Skills
Bachelor's degree required
8+ years’ experience
Preferred industries: Consumer Packaged Goods, Consulting, Information, Ecommerce, Analytics
Strong analytical aptitude
Previous management experience working in a Retail corporate environment preferred
