White Castle is currently seeking a talented, dedicated and dependable Category Management Manager. This position will be located at the Home Office at 555 W. Goodale Street, Columbus, OH 43215.

This position leads data-driven insights for category/channel/account trends that support and drive the Retail Products strategy. Cross-functionally partners with teams such as Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, Pricing and Promotions, Research and Development (R&D), Consumer Research, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive relevancy of Retail Products offerings. Leads the development of strategic recommendations to support targeted business growth. Develops and leads quarterly division Business Reviews, to include the Leadership team, Marketing, and other key stake holders. Collaborates with Marketing to share brand insights, supporting efforts to understand and support new item launches.
Provide Analytics and Thought Leadership by understanding strategies and initiatives for portfolio and brand management. Provide insights needed for actionable steps.
Interpret and deliver national retail syndicated data analytics and the Category Management Process as defined by industry standards
Support forecasting efforts; forecast new and current product line volume assumptions
Support new product line launches and line reviews; provide necessary category trend information to aid Brand/Marketing, Innovation team, and Sales team in preparing, forecasting, and selling-in new product lines
Post-promotional Analysis; support Marketing, Leadership and Sales team in fact-based evaluations of performance ROI on both national and account specific promotions

Four-year degree, with 2 to 3 years marketing/sales analysis experience. * Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Industry. * Analytical background. * Expertise in the use of Excel, Word, Crystal Reports, PowerPoint, outside retailer sales reporting systems and planogramming software programs. * Proficiency in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) syndicated data analytics and the Category Management Process as measured by industry standards. * Will be required to be a member of various user groups, including Wal-Mart Retail Link Users Group and Nielsen Answers.
