Roles & Responsibilities

As an Account Manager, responsible for developing and managing Affinity Partnerships for our experiential activations your role will be to conduct strategic market research and recommend potential affinity partners at a local and national level for Interluxe clients based on a brief from the key Account Director and/or CEO.

Once potential partners have been agreed, the Partnership Account Manger will be responsible for making initial contact and successfully managing any agreed partnerships to include all aspects of the relationship including:

Pre-production: Contacts, timelines, communications, status updates

Live: Concierge, data capture, & brand integration

Post-production: Analytics & reporting (development of presentations)


Working largely within the luxury sector, the Partnerships Account Manager will have well rounded and up-to-date knowledge of the brands that operate within this space as well as a natural competency for aligning complimentary brands.

The Partnerships Account Manager will be an expert relationship builder; quick to spot opportunities and highly effective when it comes to imparting the benefits of affinity partnerships to potential partners, motivating them to come on board. Key relationships will in large part need to be established remotely, making the Partnerships Account Manager’s ability to create a great phone and email rapport as crucial as their inherent sales skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the essentials of marketing
  • Strong Project Management skills necessary
  • Highly organised with a strong sales mentality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships in key markets
  • Experience with negotiating partnership terms
  • Experience with contracts
  • Computer literate with complete knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially strong proficiency in Excel and Power Point)
  • Experience in creating, tracking and actualizing budgets
  • Possesses strong strategic planning, communication and executional skills
  • The ability to meet or exceed client expectations in the area of account management, industry/category/brand knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work outside of normal business hours
  • Quick thinking and ability to be resourceful in a stressful environment
  • Some travel required
