Stanford Hotels Corporation is seeking an experienced Catering professional to join their team as their Corporate Director of Catering! The Corporate Director of Catering will provide oversight and direction to the Catering & Event Services teams located at Stanford's properties throughout the US. The individual will ensure optimal performance, profitability, revenue generation and guest satisfaction at all of the properties. This will necessitate extensive travel.

JOB DUTIES:
Support, train and collaborate with hotel management in the hiring of all catering personnel
Provide motivation, leadership and mentoring to Directors of Catering to ensure we maintain highest possible levels of employee morale and productivity
Audit business development production solicits from various channels such as tradeshows, sales calls and prospecting and networking
Assist in development of revenue goals for each hotel as determined by the budget and future needs of the property
Work with Corporate support to increase visibility and promotional value of properties as a social media venue
Conduct informational tours of the competitive set
Attend hotel and trade events as designated by the market and subject matter
Review Catering menus, offerings and bi annual competitive analysis and offerings
Collaborate with Director of Sales and develop annual Catering marketing plans
Maintain accurate information in Delphi and Profit Sage
Monitor group resumes, pre and post convention meetings to ensure customer has a voice in our future developments in the Catering discipline
Review space utilization report from Delphi and provide direction regarding free sell and pricing strategies to maximize revenue
Adapt style for market conditions and types of properties
Engage Sales & Catering teams to create new revenue opportunities
Work in conjunction with brand for marketing promotions and events through the brands and website
Develop relationship with entities such as Wedding Wire, Events etc., local venues, and vendors

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5 years prior experience working as a Corporate Director of Catering, Regional Director of Catering or Multi Property Catering
Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience with Delphi
Customer service focused
Strong interpersonal skills
Attention to details, organized, disciplined and personally accountable
