Our work environment includes:
Responsibilities:
- Transport freight in a safe & timely manner.
- Load & unload hopper bottom trailers -open tarps, trap doors, climb ladders.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT & HOS regulations while driving.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle & report issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
Experience:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A) with appropriate endorsements (3-year minimum).
- Proven experience as a truck driver with references.
- Familiarity with various types of trucks and their operation.
- Good driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $0.60 - $0.70 per mile
