Here at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center, we are currently seeking an experienced and energetic Cook who can perform well under pressure and provide excellent service by fulfilling our guests’ needs in a timely manner and with quality control and care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years cooking experience preferred, especially high volume.

Read and understand English. Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.

JOB DUTIES:

Constantly:

Prepare food in accordance with working menus, recipe cards and photos.

Ensure the special of the day is completed in a timely fashion.

Maintain work areas clean and organized.

Monitor the presentation and portioning of food according to standards.

Monitor the quality and consistency of all food served from the lines.

Frequently:

Display knowledge in sanitation and sanitary food handling.

Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training.

Report all unsafe conditions immediately.

Set up, restock, maintain and clean food preparation areas.

Occasionally: Attend all mandatory meetings.
