Kelly services currently has positions open for EHS Specialist II for GE in Westborough, MA. This EHS technician will work 2nd into 3rd shift M-F This position is responsible for conducting Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) activities, under the direction and supervision of the site EHS leader on the manufacturing floor. The primary focus is to conduct EHS inspections, maintain EHS recordkeeping systems, conduct or assist with EHS employee site trainings, and participate in other EHS program activities to ensure employee safety and regulatory compliance in the manufacturing environment. Specifically, workers that directly or indirectly support services that are invoiced to GE through one of several contractual arrangements (e.g., time/materials, statement of work, purchase agreement, direct labor).
PAY RATE: $27.87 Hourly
SHIFT: M-F, It will be a 2nd to 3rd split shift 5pm-12am
ASSIGNMENT: Approximate TWELVE-MONTH assignment (March 2020 – April 2021). This is this a temp to perm position for the right candidate.
REQUIRED SKILL SET
Excellent Computer Skills
Preferred RCRA certification
MA 3B Crane License
A College student who is working toward a 4-year environmental or safety degree would be ideal - minimum associates degree preferably in an environmental or safety discipline.
