Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Global Total Rewards, the Specialist is responsible for the design and maintenance of a holistic framework of financial and non-financial rewards that reflects the organization’s strategy to attract, motivate and retain employees. Core job duties include but are not limited to the following: researching and analyzing key perspectives (e.g. employee, external labor market, cost, and workforce requirements) as well as incorporating, developing and administering traditional compensation and benefits elements (inclusive of leaves of absences and disability programs), career frameworks, wellness strategies, work/life benefits and ongoing employee communication.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Partners with Director in compensation design and management related job duties to ensure the company’s total compensation package is competitive and allows us to attract and retain talent.
Administers employee benefits programs such as 401k, medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, leaves of absences from inception to closure, disability, tuition reimbursement and any ancillary plans which may be offered to the employee population.
Maintains compensation programs and benefits programs, including but not limited to benefits open enrollment and health affair events.
Communicates Total Reward programs to employees to promote the company’s commitments to employees’ wellbeing and ensure understanding.
Executes and operationalizes total rewards strategies and designs that encompass work/lifestyle and development/career rewards.
Performs compensation evaluation and analysis (e.g., job analysis, evaluation and classification, survey participation, policy, and benefits benchmark and review).
Evaluates and compares existing company Total Rewards with those of other employers by analyzing plan metrics, surveys and other sources of information. Develops and presents recommendations as needed to Director with respect to possible plan changes that reflect best practices and the company’s goals to attract and retain talent.
Assists Director to develop and conduct global employee education meetings, seminars, webinars etc., to promote company benefits and wellness as needed.
Ensures company compliance with provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act. Assists in the preparation of reports required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies such as the IRS, DOL and other regulatory agencies. Partners with Director to ensure compliance with local overseas rules and regulations.
Manages the Wellness program to ensure that it reflects best practices and the company’s commitment to our employees’ wellbeing.
Collaborates with the HRIS team to ensure system is accurate and reports are being run in a timely manner and relevant file feeds to/from carriers are timely and accurate.
Establishes and maintains a report/deduction audit schedule to proactively catch any inaccuracies or feed issues before they become widespread and problematic.
Handles benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable and courteous resolution.
Responsible for Leave polices administration.
Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor degree required.
3+ years of progressively challenging and relevant experience in a Global Total Rewards administration role including domestic and international compensation, benefits (inclusive of leave management), wellness and other financial and non-financial rewards.
Excellent analytical skills and computer skills knowledge and ability to work with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
Experience using UltiPro HRIS, strongly preferred.
Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to speak with all levels of the workforce.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and/or governmental regulations.
Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese strongly preferred.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area and volume.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to administer a Global Total Rewards program.
