PC Support Technician w/ min 2 years Server Experience

Responsibilities :

  • Respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
  • Create, document, and escalate issues and problems according to ticketing standards and SLAs
  • Monitor assigned tickets and tasks and provide service or escalation as necessary
  • Provide desktop, server and network support
  • Perform scheduled maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of available tools to assist in daily tasks
  • Ability to troubleshoot server-based software issues with:

Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
_Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013
Microsoft Office 365_

  • Basic understanding of DNS, Firewalls, DHCP, AD and DNS
  • Knowledgeable in troubleshooting and resolving workstation based software issues with: Microsoft Windows 7, 8, and 10

Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013 / 2016
Soft Skills:

  • Strong written and excellent verbal communication skills
  • Pleasant and professional demeanor in all client and internal communications
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Independent worker and able to work effectively on daily tasks without direct supervision

Education and Experience:

  • CompTIA A+ required
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in supporting networks and/or providing technical support

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
