Overview:
The F&B Event Coordinator with F&B 575 LLC at Aman New York will maintain a firm understanding of the Aman brand, our guests & clientele, and event goals. The coordinator is a key position to assist in driving the business in the Food & Beverage outlets at Aman New York. Candidate should have a love for special event management, provide genuine concierge style service to all incoming guests; be an enthusiastic professional, and have the ability to build relationships with guests & clients.
This position has an annual compensation of $65,000.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Director’s daily tasks by aiding with event management & planning details from initial lead to event close out.

Client Engagement & Administrative Tasks
- Monitor & respond within 24 hours to initial leads, calls and voicemails; answer questions by providing basic knowledge of each outlet
- Follow-up on leads and transition to Events team based on guest questions & level of interest
- Assist in gathering information on each event, collecting menus & updating Tripleseat, creating BEO’s & agreements

Support with recordkeeping and detailed note taking during scheduled meetings
- Ability to build true and deep human connections
- Passion for delivering the best possible service and evidences creating outstanding memories for others
- Support & take notes on specified calls, site visits and internal meetings
- Schedule calls to review client’s vision (prospect, new and loyal accounts)
- Support Event Manager with recordkeeping and detailed note taking

Maintain, update and implement all sales collateral

Work as part of the F&B sales team to meet monthly revenue goals
- Exceptional communication internally and externally in a clear, concise, logical manner

Qualifications:
- Basic Knowledge of Tripleseat use & organization
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event or event sales is a plus
- Flexible schedule
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
