This company looking to add an Controller who can establish themselves with a growing and diversified company offering the potential for future personal growth and leadership opportunities. The successful candidate will report to the COO and provide support to Project Teams in various accounting related areas and provide support to the financial department. This candidate will have a formidable knowledge of General ledger accounting structure, Project Accounting and Operations, and Financial Reporting within the Construction industry.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
(Include but are not limited to)
- Responsible for managing accounting processes related to projects and ensuring compliance with corporate internal tax regulations for multiple entities.
- Oversee all financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with Senior Project Managers and team members to monitor project financial performance and provide regular updates.
- Must have strong background on Cash Management, and Financial Analysis.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable and receivable.
- Monitor receipt of all income, and financial commitments, manage company cash flow, cost management, including monitoring of project profitability.
- Independently create and maintain detailed financial reports. Coordinate timely updates with leadership team.
- Manage and direct accounting team which consist of three professionals through strong leadership skills.
- Prepare analysis and reconciliation of monthly financial activity.
- Report, Monitor, and Present key financial and non-financial performance indicators.
- Prepare and analyze consolidated reporting are all levels of the company. Provide feedback on areas for improvement.
- Leads all quarterly financial review and annual audit activities.
STRATEGIC INITIATIVE:
- Develop protocols that help establish consistent behaviors in financial operations.
- Implement accounting policies and standards. Enforce compliance.
- Partner with other areas in the organization to move the business forward.
The salary range for this position is $95,000 -$110,000.
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:
- Minimum of 3-5 of related accounting experience or related.
- Proficiency with Pc, QuickBooks, Dynamics, Microsoft 365, and PowerPoint.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, tight deadlines and work on various projects concurrently.
- Proficiency in standard computer operation and office productivity software; Microsoft software
- Collaborative team player, but also able to drive initiatives independently.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, utilizing industry standard vocabulary.
- This is a fulltime position, Monday - Friday with the schedule being 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am -5pm
