Our New York City Studio has an immediate need for a Project Architect III. Working primarily in Revit, the Project Architect III is responsible for daily design or technical development of projects and serves as the Lead Architect on large scale, complex projects.

Prepare 2D and 3D design materials.

Develops solutions to technical and design problems.

Develops production drawings.

Assists with construction administration, including shop drawing reviews, material submittals, on-site inspections, etc.

Reviews project documents; coordinates with other design disciplines.

Works with the Client to achieve design goals

Works with the Project Manager to develop cost budgets and project specifications

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.Arch) or Master's Degree (M.Arch) from four-year college or university.

Minimum 15+ years’ experience required.

Experience with commercial/ institutional/complex building types

Experienced with Revit, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Sketch-UP and Adobe Suite.

Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and with strong attention to detail

Ability to present and articulate ideas and analyses

Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity and complex challenges

Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and distributed teams

Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate willingness to take on new responsibilities

Ability to work independently upon receiving direction from others
