The Website Manager is primarily responsible to design, develop, implement and maintain web sites, web based applications, and initiatives. This position ensures the success of all aspects of initiatives he/she is charged with overseeing, interacts with marketing, internal application developers and all levels of management to determine project requirements for new development initiatives and enhancements. Assists in the design and development of new systems, including: testing, documentation, and end-user training and acts as a management consultant and catalyst for creating new ways to use the web.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING
Design, develop, maintain, deploy and update organizational websites, including production of web content, in a manner that is appealing to targeted audiences.
Interface with departmental leadership to determine the needs and provides input into strategic planning of new websites and web applications.
Manage Umbraco 7 Installation and deployment within a VDI environment.
Work with departmental leadership to coordinate project priorities and progress.
Manages and executes ongoing and new development in relation to all web and intranet sites.
Designs, develops and implements database interfaces.
Create and maintains secure data transfer between web and internal systems.
Manages and monitors web servers and site technical performance.
Track and report on all site metrics to evaluate performance of websites and online databases.
Copy, edit and proofread web content.
Assist in end user training, testing, and debugging of websites and web applications.
Copy, edit and proofread web content.
Report to manager any problems and status of progress on all projects.
Keep current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs and events.
Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference.
Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors.
Manage SSL certificate and domain renewals.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information sciences, software engineering, or related field required. A minimum of three years related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
No certificates, licenses, or registrations required. Technical certifications, including Umbraco 7 preferred.

Proven management skills of enterprise level websites.
Advanced working knowledge of web design, application engineering and debugging.
Intermediate/Adobe Photoshop/Image Ready CS, Flash MX or Professional, Dreamweaver skills
