The Part Time Plumbing Inspector is responsible for inspection of the City’s permitted plumbing jobs as assigned.
· Inspects permitted plumbing jobs and enforces the Illinois State Plumbing Code and other ordinances adopted by the City of Geneseo.
· Signs off on plumbing permits for filing with the City’s Building Inspector.
· Assists in establishing and maintaining current codes, ordinances, rules and regulations.
· Assists with plan reviews for projects submitted to the City as assigned.
· Investigates and follows up on plumbing related and other complaints.
· Complies with all safety procedures and policies of the City.
· Answers questions using a City issued phone as needed.
· Performs special tasks and projects as assigned.
· Attends related meetings and classes as necessary.
· Adheres to all policies and procedures of the City.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
