Within the Operations team our Electronic & Commercial Services team processes cash and check deposits, fulfills currency and coin orders through cash vault services, provides retail and wholesale lockbox collection services, wire transfer services, and Treasury Management (TM) products and services, including monthly billing statements for Business Banking, Wholesale, International, and TM customers.
Wholesale and Retail Lockbox is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and highly self-motivated manager to lead within their Philadelphia, PA site, managing a team of 20-25 team members including scanning, mailroom, and retail processing.
Schedule: Friday – Tuesday 7:00 AM until 4:00 PM (40 hours/week) or until completion
Additional hours may be required based on work volume.
Duties may include:
Reviewing, prioritizing, and distributing daily work to meet deadlines and goals
Monitoring work in progress making adjustments as needed; standing long periods
Giving feedback and training to staff; addressing scheduling issues, including absences and tardiness
Giving input to supervisors on staff performance; representing unit at meetings
Specific responsibilities include:
Managing workflow from start to finish and monitoring a team of associates
Ensuring that customer deadlines are being met
Ensuring that all of the necessary tools are on hand in order to perform the job with little or no interruptions
Communicating with peers and management to exchange pertinent information
Promoting a positive work environment for associates while demonstrating a commitment to open communications, staff development, and employee morale

Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
3+ years of operations experience demonstrated through work or military experience 1+ year of leadership experience in an operations environment
1+ year of leadership experience in an operations environment
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Banking operations experience
Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment
Ability to manage initiatives involving process improvements
Ability to manage to production goals, deadlines, and various metrics
Ability to motivate and provide performance feedback to staff
Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Ability to navigate multiple computer system windows, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Ability to organize and delegate work to others
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Leadership experience including; coaching, training, and mentoring
Other Desired Qualifications
Lockbox experience strongly preferred, but will consider cash vault or check processing experience
Ability to lift 15+ pounds
