What You’ll Do:
Become a part of the DCL team- a creative design, visual storytelling and video production team

Collaborate with DCL team and client services and sales to help reach objectives and exceed goals for client projects

Work in a fast paced environment and learn key trends and approaches to current digital media space

Gather functional requirements and prepare specs for new client website projects

Develop and maintain PHP / MySQL micro sites and CMS sites built in Wordpress and Magento

Develop front end HTML/CSS code and back end code typically in PHP

Systems integration using tools such as:
3rd Party APIs (SOAP/REST/XMLRPC with PHP or .NET)

Cron Jobs, shell/PHP scripting

Help deploy, monitor, replicate, and backup Linux and windows cloud servers from a variety of vendors.

Help develop and deploy test environments, backups, and redundancy.

Maintain QA best practices, including unit-testing, code revision and review

P rovide technical insight/oversight/advice to all internal and some external departments

Teach team members new technologies and promote their adoption.

This is an ONSITE role

What You’ll Need:
2+ years of experience building websites with database connectivity in PHP/MySQL

Strong HTML/CSS experience

Experience in responsive design

Strong knowledge of such CMS platforms as Wordpress and Drupal, and ecommerce platforms as Magento, Shopify, Opencart.

Being comfortable with LAMP Development environment is required

Knowledge of Javascript, CSS and Ajax, JSON and Bootstrap

Excellent communication skills

Diligent work ethic. Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done

Ability to function in a team environment

Familiar with GIT & SVN

F amiliar with Amazon Web Services EC2

Knowledge of SEO practices
