Head of Sales

You will be responsible for the start and growth of the Wonderschool sales team. You will be the first person hired with a sales background at Wonderschool. You will be focused on finding and selling to individuals the idea of starting a Wonderschool.

This role involves handling inbound sales calls, conducting outside sales at events hosted by Wonderschool for Wonderschool Directors, and building a team that will the take your learnings and scaling this team in the markets we are in.

You will work hand in hand with the Wonderschool Community Managers who are handling selling to prospective Director’s (what we call a teacher) today. The Community Managers do not come from a traditional sales background and they will grow to manage a team which comprises of team members focused on sales and other components of growing in a city. You will work hand in hand with Community Managers to manage outside sales reps in the markets we are in.

The ideal candidate for this role is a versatile, experienced, sales leader who can talk to teachers, parents, and Wonderschool leaders.

The right person for this role has experience selling, setting up systems, managing large amounts of data and making fast and well informed decisions. You have really cared about the organizations you've worked with and are focused on bringing on amazing customers that convert.

This is a full time job based in San Francisco, CA. You will report to the CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will lead Inside Sales at Wonderschool HQ and sales teams in local markets
You will hire and grow teams
You will set processes, playbooks, and scripts to achieve goals
Track the success of teams
Communicate to executive team, board, and to respective teams
Setup and manage CRM and then build a team to do this as we scale
Setting and managing quotas
Requirements

3+ years experience within a small business organization
1+ years experience with cold calling
Comfortable with Excel
1+ years experience as a manager
1+ years experience as a sales rep
Comfortable being a player / coach
Experience setting up and managing CRM's
Experience at a startup
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Mid market and Enterprise experience
