First Scribe, an award-winning Minneapolis digital agency, is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our dynamic and growing team. You might be a great fit if you:

What You’ll be doing:
Listening to, cultivating, and nurturing prospects
Prospecting via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings
Developing and following leads to produce real sales results
Documenting all sales activity in HubSpot
Working with Marketing team to develop a strategy to drive high quality prospects
Developing and following the sales process
Delighting the prospect through every part of the buying journey

New business acquisition, together with the business development team
Identification and solicitation of prospects
Cold/Warm calling and network development
Develop and present proposals
Structure Deals and Pricing in line with the our Pricing Strategy
Maintain connection with prospects
Seek opportunities via RFP resources
Conduct preliminary prospect/category research
Schedule, plan, and conduct prospect meetings

Performance Metrics:
Prospect activity increase (contacts, meetings, proposals)
New client revenue growth (sales)
Increase business opportunities
Great Remarks during 360 Peer Feedback with Marketing team

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Equivalent
Proven 10+ Years of Sales Experience (preferably with an agency)
Familiarity with Digital Marketing and Websites
Comfortable interpreting data into meaningful insights
Team player able to work under pressure
Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and creative
Up-to-date knowledge of technology, the web, and digital marketing
Excellent presentation and writing skills
Able to foster solid personal relationships
Well-networked and adept at social communication tools
Organized and detail oriented
MS Office proficiency
