Product Manager – Remote – US

The Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, roadmap and feature definition of the BackOffice Associate’s products and solutions. They will perform thorough research of the markets and market segments that BackOffice addresses, or will address in the future. The Product Manager should be an evangelist for the products and solutions and should ensure all necessary departments in the organization understand the problems that are being solved, along with the value to the customer and the differentiation from our competitors. They will work with product owners or directly with the engineering, testing and documentation teams to define and communicate new product requirements as well as supporting the teams throughout the entire process. Leveraging market knowledge about the need and value of features will be required to prioritize the product backlog to ensure timely release of features.

Primary Responsibilities:
Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to set a product vision and strategy
Clearly articulate the business value to the product team so they understand the intent behind a new product, product release or enhancement
Perform detailed analysis on competitive offerings to ensure a robust and differentiated feature set that solves market problems
Develop user personas for the products and be able to present those in detail to other departments within the organization
Work with product owners and product teams to build the requirements for enhancements and new features
Act as the voice of the customer so as to clearly communicate the value and impact of features and bugs
Review features and prototypes in order to provide feedback and guidance
Create and maintain roadmaps and other delivery schedules through collaboration with engineers
Maintains the product backlog and prioritizes tickets where appropriate
Communicate to Leadership, Customer Success, Support and other stakeholder’s rollout plans, feature details and bug status updates

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of overall experience in software product development, management and/or engineering
Experience with SaaS/Cloud products, preferred
Current experience working in an Agile/Scrum work environment
Experience working closely with Engineering and Agile development teams
Experience with work item and defect tracking management systems (eg., Visual Studio Online, Jira, etc.)
Strong analytical skills and experience with performing business analytical skills with complex systems
Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing to business partners
A passion for product and the impact it can have upon customers
Strong desire to drive initiatives through to completion with minimal need for supervision
Strong attention to detail and track record of producing quality work
Strong team player capable of providing support across the organization to train and assist others
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
