Townley Inc. is seeking a Planner with Walmart experience to join their team! The ideal candidate has extensive ERP, Excel and systems knowledge as well as Walmart, Target and/or dollar store experience.

The Planner is responsible for aggregation, analysis and communication of wholesale and pos sales results, create strategic internal forecast, collaborate with our retail planning partners on department and style plans.

*Reporting and Analytics - Collect and analyze wholesale & retail sales data to provide insight into product performance and identify trends. Communicate program and product reports that pinpoints successes and challenges. Call out market successes to maximize sales opportunities as well as production and product issues to limit and offset future liability. Communicate sales performance with sales team to validate additional  opportunities and/or markdown suggestions.

*Retail Communication - Collaborate with retail planning partners on understanding upcoming merchandise plans and sales results to establish the appropriate allocation strategy to support the business.

*Planning and Inventory - maximize inventory productivity by forecasting demand and monitoring inventory levels for replenishment programs. Identify and report sales trends and achieve efficient levels of supply in the production pipeline Identify individual product and item assortments that achieve high sell through %.

Candidates must have 1-3 years of wholesale planning experience, working with Walmart or similar Big Box retailers . Advanced Excel experience is a must.
