Strategy Leadership Development Professional
Fortune 250 company seeking future business leaders to help foster growth, efficiency and innovation as a Strategy Leadership Development Professional (LDP). The Strategy LDP role creates applications that enhance business needs. LDPs serve as key members of the development team, designing, developing and maintaining high quality software. The LDP will serve in a full-time role within Strategy - Technology while participating in a structured orientation to CSX, and the Railroad industry.
IMPORTANT: This program will have a start date of June 2024
Primary Activities and Responsibilities:
Leadership Development Professionals will be placed with a technology team based on their skills, aspirations, and active company initiatives. LDP may work with teams including: Applications Development (Angular and Java web development), Data Science & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Agile Delivery, Infrastructure (including Automation, Cloud), User Experience, IT Operations, Integrations/API, Project Management, Robotics/Drones, and Service Support.
Regardless of team placement, all strategy LDPs play an important role in advancing and delivering Technology initiatives. The expectations of these compensated positions include, but are not limited to:
- Active contribution in a dynamic, agile team environment
- Adherence to best practices for developing and maintaining secure systems
- Root-cause analysis to iterate improvement and increase reliability and efficiency
- Engagement across teams and stakeholders, to ensure shared understanding and value delivery
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
Equivalent Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and IT specific certifications
- 2 or more years of experience in Information Technology/Transportation/Intermodal Operations, or Information Systems
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of web (angular/java) programming concepts and technologies
- Knowledge of relational and/or graph database concepts and functions
- Knowledge of Agile, DEVOPS, cybersecurity, and integration practices and concepts
- Strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and influence skills
- Problem-solving, analysis, organizational, and time management skills

- Willing and able to work days and hours as assigned
- Successfully complete a background check and drug test
Environmental Conditions:
