Your Role
We are seeking an experienced Regulatory & Compliance Analytics Consultant to be a core part of a new team within the F&R Analytics organization that focuses on integration of Analytics based technical solutions to solve our client’s needs in the Regulatory and Compliance space.

Our team members all provide some combination of these skills and the ideal candidates show a strong desire to develop skills across the board.
3-5 years of experience in a consulting function at a medium to large financial services institution, delivering regulary and compliance solutions
Strong Regulatory and Compliance knowledge and Experience. Well versed in compliance testing methodologies. Able to communicate vision and integration between 2nd and 1st Line of defense. Strong Financial and some auditing knowledge. Mortgage, Consumer, Wealth Management, Trading, Financial Crime (Fraud, AML, etc.), etc.
Knowledgeable in auditing methodologies, regulatory and compliance rules, sound sampling methodologies, etc. Ability to utilize various analytics methods to identify and interpret relationships among variables to extract insights and provide observations. Risk-focused with accounting and financial knowledge along with compliance.

The candidate will demonstrate expertise and/or project delivery success in one or more of the following areas:

Data: Information management concepts; data analysis around business requirements; data modeling, data quality and validation
Analytics: Good understanding of the science and art of data analytics and vendor-agnostic data visualization approaches; data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, Qlick View or Sense, Cognos, SAP Business Objects, Microstrategy, ggplot2 etc.
Information infrastructure: Strong understanding of Relational Database and/or Big Data Modeling concepts and querying languages such as but not limited to T-SQL, PL-SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop and related technologies
Programming skills: Python/Java/PHP; Web technologies like JavaScript, CSS and HTML5

Leading small to medium teams, including allocating work appropriately and creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team and respecting the work-life quality of team members; providing feedback in a timely manner; and keeping engagement managers and leadership informed of progress and issues
Utilizing project leadership and related project management skills in relation to dat analytics projects, including developing project plans, budgets, and deliverables schedules; creative thinking, individual initiative, and flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks
Researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry, and technical matters; approaching clients and team members in an organized and knowledgeable manner and to deliver clear requests for information
Leveraging negotiation and persuasion skills used to cross-sell or up-sell additional services to existing clients
Provide support to management in business development initiatives, including developing client proposals and building strong relationships with Accenture clients
Support development of the Reg & Compliance Analytics practice by driving initiatives around market research, capability development, thought capital, knowledge management, etc.
Contribute to development of Accenture Points-of-View on a variety of Reg & Compliance Analytics topics
Maintain an understanding of advancements in technology and innovations which are happening across Data Analytics and broader financial services marketplace

Basic Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of prior Management Consulting experience focused on the Financial Services industry required

Prior experience should include:
Dealing with large data sets, change initiatives, and capturing current state/target state design in functional and/or technical capacity
Extracting, aggregating and structuring large volumes of data in the context of analytics
Development and/or design of analytics visualizations for the purpose of outlier analysis and/or compliance testing or KPI reporting.
Knowledge of risk data-related regulatory requirements and trends, such as Basel, BCBS239, CCAR, BSA/AML, Volcker, FRTB, etc.
Strong understanding of front, middle and back office operations
Solid project management experience including: defining scope, setting project timelines and milestone, driving deliverables, identifying risks, managing issues, project economics and client relationship management)
Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate with clients, lead key requirement workshops, document and understand requirements
Strong competence in developing presentations required (MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel))
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Enginering. An Advanced Degree in focusing on Analytics and/or Business is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with large-scale compliance and/or finance infrastructure transformations.
Experience with Data Science tools such as R, SAS, Python, etc.
Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Risk Management concepts (Credit, Market, Liquidity)
