  • teach each semester one undergraduate or graduate level studio and support courses in historic preservation, community engagement, and/or related areas of expertise
  • continue an active program of peer-reviewed scholarship or creative activity
  • engage in an ongoing dialogue about the program and design practice
  • advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
  • supervise student research projects and theses, including historic preservation certificate students
  • provide service to the department, college, university and community
  • oversee and advise the historic preservation certification in conjunction with the Graduate Studies Director
Minimum Qualifications

  • expertise in historic preservation, community engagement, or related field
  • terminal degree in interior design or related field (MFA, MArch, PhD)
  • ability to teach undergraduate and graduate studios and in a support area related to the candidate’s expertise
  • professional credentials related to the candidate’s expertise
  • teaching experience, practical experience and/or digital design competency
