The T-ROC Director of Business Development is responsible for business expansion, revenue growth, and overall profitability through strategic planning, growth management, business development, market research and analysis practices.

Market knowledge: extensive knowledge of the retail consumer landscape. Uniquely understands what consumers crave and retailers need, to win. Understands how software, automation, managed services and brand advocacy relates to driving outcomes. Understands the competitive landscape and can clearly articulate what sets T-ROCapart from the rest.
Customer Knowledge: significant experience selling to large enterprises and/or retailers. Focuses on what outcomes are best for the customer. Continually assessing opportunity and risk.
Sales Knowledge: formed proven sales methodology, from leads to customer. Can easily articulate specific steps required for success and can easily trace specific results as it relates to the sales process. Understands the sales cycle and can manage cycles to meet company profit goals.
Develops and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services
Develops and manages sales operating budgets
Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends
Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts sales strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
Guides preparation of sales activity reports and presents to executive management
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product
Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness

Here’s what we need:
ABLE TO WORK REMOTE and be a road warrior (90%+ travel)
5-10 years proven selling successes
Typical deals in excess of $1mm ++
Bachelors Degree in Administration or Bachelors Degree in Science
Ability to work in a fast paced/multi-channel environment
Ability to influence key stakeholders and bring sales opportunities to close
Must have a collaborative partner approach
