Job Description
The Manager, Gastroenterology Patient Services Strategy plays a important role in the development of our patient support strategies. This position is a direct interface for the other Patient Services teams with their brand partners ensuring programs meet patient and provider needs. This person will be responsible for supporting program enhancements, partnering with Sales and Marketing, Legal/Compliance, and additional stakeholders to create exceptional patient treatment plan experiences.
Major Responsibilities:

Understands the overall PSP vision and strategy, helps define, document, and communicate the vision

Helps drive modeling and identify analytic needs with the Director, collecting key data points to validate program performance

Understands and can navigate the multi-dimensional PSP components to help troubleshoot issues and maximize overall program performance

Operates in the finer details, executing on projects leading up to larger program initiatives

Support leadership creation of PSP strategic & tactical planning by providing strategic lens

Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with commercial business partners in sales, managed healthcare, trade and marketing teams

Builds awareness of Complete service offerings throughout brand teams by socializing content with brand team members (managers, ADs)

Provides APS input to Brand marketing executions, identifying and resolving incongruencies, and synergizing messaging

Facilitates discussion of operational opportunities & efficiencies between APS teams and brands

Understands business and compliance guardrails and asks appropriate questions to drive business forward

Seek to identify customer, access, and program industry trends to enhance current patient support programs

Tracks brand needs, economics, strategies, timelines, and priorities while staying abreast of SKYRIZI & RINVOQ Gastroenterology patient trends
Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required
Qualifications
-
Requires minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business or related field
-
A minimum of 2-3 years in the pharmaceutical industry with experience in market access, patient support, sales, marketing, or related commercial function in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

Experience working within a matrix organization

Strong strategic business acumen and a data driven mindset

Ability to work cross-functionally to gain alignment on customer needs, objectives, and priorities, to optimize business and customer outcomes

Work with complex information and present/synthesize it understandably

Holistic vision with ability to understand the macro strategy and to dive deep into tactical execution ensuring the main business objectives are achieved

Ability to communicate across multiple functions (sales, managed healthcare, trade, marketing)

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced, deadline driven, entrepreneurial environment

Ability to understand brand needs and trends to inform proactive business planning and prioritization

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
